STRANGE DUCKLTD
WEBSITE RESCUE / A CLEAR ROUTE FORWARD
We look at what is actually going wrong, explain it in plain English and help you decide whether the sensible answer is to leave it alone, replace it once, or move to a managed website.
01 / THE RESCUE PLAN
We are not interested in replacing a website simply because we can. The first job is working out whether replacing it would actually help.
Send the public website address and tell us what you have noticed or what the site should be doing better.
We look at the important public-facing issues and explain what they are likely to mean for customers and the business.
If replacement makes sense, we explain the one-off and managed routes. If it does not, we say that instead.
02 / WHAT WE LOOK AT
03 / IF IT DOES NEED REPLACING
Website Rescue is the diagnosis. The replacement route depends on whether you want to own the finished project outright or keep the build and ongoing care together.
Defined project, agreed price and clear handover. One-off websites start from £495.
Explore one-off websites ↗Website build, hosting and agreed ongoing care in one service. Managed websites start from £59 per month.
Explore managed websites ↗04 / BEFORE YOU SEND IT IN
An initial public review normally starts with the website address. Please do not send passwords or other sensitive information through the enquiry form.
Depending on the site, we look at availability, speed, mobile usability, navigation, visible content, links, enquiry journeys and search fundamentals.
No. If the site does not need replacing, we’ll tell you. If it does, we explain why before quoting for anything.
No. Website Rescue is our route for understanding an existing site and deciding whether it should be replaced. We do not sell indefinite repair work on unknown platforms.
Not for the initial public review. If later work genuinely requires access, we agree that separately and explain exactly what is needed.
